Reaching The Summit

A few days ago, October 3, 2025, I found myself on the top of a mountain summit that had eluded me for nearly a decade: Kelsey Peak in Tooele, Utah.

Having gone for 5 failed attempts over that time, I never thought my body would hold up, as age continues to compromise my once indomitable spirit to scale great mountain heights. And yet, there I was, on top of the world once again at 47 years old, despite knee surgery and other ailments that should have kept me permanently away.

For the last few years I have committed to reaching this great height, and have invested in supplements, health practices, and recovery that would give me the greatest chance of success.

One of my secrets: Nitric Oxide therapy. The better the blow flow, the better the next adventure will be. This is why Cardio Miracle is a miracle for me, as it is scientifically proven to be the world’s most powerful Nitric Oxide delivery, and very well could be the answer to your next great life adventure, if you so choose to take up the challenge.

The Adventure:

2 weeks prior to my moment on top of the world, I had returned to the mountain range.

As I sipped on my Cardio Miracle going straight up the ascent, my hiking pace seemed faster than normal. Glancing at my heart rate monitor I noticed I was pushing 160, 165, 168…had this been a few years ago, I would have stopped, sat down, maybe needed to lie down and catch my breath, maybe even needed to throw up (to be honest).

Yet here I was, flying up a mountain, blood pumping, pulse beating out of my neck, nature calling me to continue upward, as I breathed heavily onward to the first summit.

Reaching the Butterfield Twin Peaks, both of which have never been too challenging, yet just hard enough, I looked over at the looming menace that is my achilles heel of hikes: Kelsey Peak of the Oquirrh Mountain range.

It seemed to mock me, knowing I had nearly perished multiple times in its quest, either gotten lost, planned incorrectly, not given enough time, and the most harrowing of all: one day in July years before, I suffered a level of dehydration that almost killed me on the mountain face.

The Setbacks:

I’ll never forget feeling great as I ascended that warm summer day in 2001, until I didn’t.

Suddenly my body seized as I collapsed in the scrub brush, sun blazing overhead with no place to hide, my body completely shut off in a paralyzed state, and I was miles away from the trailhead. Not a soul in sight, as no one ever seems to be on that trail, It was the first time I have ever considered calling 911 for a helicopter to come rescue me.

Instead, I prayed fervently for a miracle, as I crawled for miles on hands and knees down thousands of feet to my truck, battered, torn, scraped, bleeding and bruised, where I should have driven straight to the ER to rehydrate instead I went home and nursed myself back to health over multiple days in embarrassment while my family was away on a trip.

I am stubborn, of that there is no doubt. Determined to return to the mountain I created my plan, as I had hit the peak of every mountain seen from my home, peaks much more daunting than this one, and yet it didn’t seem meant to be.

The summer I was ready to go for it, and had lost enough weight to try again, I found myself collapsed and gripping my knee on the gym basketball court, as my patellar tendon tore off my left leg, kneecap ending up in my upper thigh, and thus a year long recovery (and story of recovery for another time) that was thankfully quickened by Cardio Miracle and nitric oxide’s miraculous effects, yet still kept me sidelined.

The next year I was too scared to even hike on my still recovering knee, so I built up my legs in the gym, on bikes, and long walks.

The following year, still, hiking seemed too great of a risk, as I purchased a weighted vest and began doing 3-4 walks per week on a 5-mile loop around my home, from 20, to 30, to 45 lbs of weight, getting stronger with one thing in mind: Kelsey Peak.

The whole time I had one vision and goal in mind: Kelsey Peak.

The Answer to Health:

Daily I consumed and filled my body with the nutrients it needed with Cardio Miracle. 58 natural ingredients that work synergistically to create Nitric Oxide allow you to replace the garbage we as a society have fallen into utilizing in the forms of energy drinks, caffeine, and other stimulants that are momentarily helpful but long term harmful.

Committing to only giving my body the best has changed my internal network, as blood flow, cell regeneration, and capillary cleansing transforms one’s general makeup.

Armed with Cardio Miracle, knowing my efforts of working out, eating right, and giving my body the nutrients it needs to recovery faster, pump blood to areas of greatest need following each work out, I was stunned any time I hit a mountain trail, as my VO2 had transformed under nitric oxide’s magical therapy.

The Summit Bid:

On Friday, October 3, 2025, I set out for Kelsey Peak. Admittedly, I knew it was too late in the day (almost 2 PM), and with a storm brewing over the mountain range to the west, I was risking this last shot of the season, not only for weather, but for my ever constricting schedule.

I went for it anyway, and sailed up the mountain.

Passing underneath the familiar Butterfield Peaks, I was flying up the mountain at a pace and rate perhaps I had never accomplished before on any of the great peaks I have scaled in the area even decades earlier. Thank you Cardio Miracle.

Coming upon the ridgeline, I enjoyed the cool breeze of both sides of the mountain hitting me with great force and chill, as rain began to fall, only crows and deer to greet me, as no other soul braved this mountain.

Downing another water bottle of Cardio Miracle, knowing my body was nourished and heart rate going strong and staying steady in the 160-170 range (normally I’m in the 130-145 range for fat burn and walking with weighted vest around the lake), it felt incredible to ascend and feel confident I was going to make it to the top this time.

By hour 2 and 50 minutes, I reached the summit! 4 miles up, thousands of feet scaled, 10,330 ft mountain peak, and thanked God for His beautiful earth and creation.

I called my wife and kids, as the only place with reception this far out is a mountaintop, as I wiped a tear at a most daunting goal that seemed unattainable following injuries and near death experiences.

Alone on the mountain top, I thanked my body for healing itself through efforts of focus, years of dedication, and recovery from major surgeries and injury.

Kelsey Peak was a formidable opponent, and Cardio Miracle was one of my main reasons I could accomplish this goal.

The Miracle:

Mind you - this is not Mount Everest. It is not even that terribly difficult of a hike or mountain climb.

Yet it had become a great block in my ability to conquer my own limitations, and needed to be beaten. The mountain never changed, the trail and trees and rocks remain. It was me that had to change in order to get to the top.

Be that mindset, body composition, reversing the aging clock, and finding a way.

To me, it is a miracle that I made it to that summit at this time of my life after all I have been through physically and mentally, and gives me both courage and determination to go for greater peaks and heights into the future.

In fact, while I was up there, I noticed other peaks I could go for in that very moment!

Another great piece of this story is that, upon descent, I realized I could hit 2 more peaks and loop around the mountain range to meet back on the trail heading down to my truck.

And so I did! Including White Pine Peak and its sister to the east, I found myself summiting 3 peaks that day instead of just one.

Selfies abounded, as I then bound down the mountain like a billy goat, free and with glee, having accomplished what seemed impossible for years prior, and now smashing great feats I didn’t even realize could be that very day.

The Promise:

What is your Promise to yourself?

What eludes you that you know, with focus, determination, goals in mind, and promises that could be kept, will allow you to achieve something of great importance to you?

Remember: I went up the mountain alone. No hiking partner, and for me that was important, as it was just God and I having a conversation all the way to the summit.

This very well could have been a story I never tell, just kept to myself, but feels important to share with you in order to give you a new dream to reach for.

Whether it is in the gym, on the water, on a court, in nature, or finding your next summit, what is your Kelsey Peak? What are you willing to do to accomplish something bigger than yourself of a physical nature despite your aging body?

I can honestly say that without the daily consumption of Cardio Miracle, I never recover from knee surgery enough, nor properly, to scale this great mountain peak. Without it, I don’t have the freedom of bounding through mountain trails as I did 20 years ago.

As the founder and formulator, John Hewlett says:

“Cardio Miracle is a mulligan on life!”

(oh yeah, he also happens to be my Dad, which for me is quite remarkable to think my own Dad is the one helping millions get their health back, including me!)

It’s never too late to get your body back into the greatest shape of your life. At 47, I am in the best condition of my existence, whereas my surgeons warned me I would never be able to do what I just did…and yet, here we are, it is a miracle.

I know that you can do the same, no matter your age, if you feed your body right, and I promise you, Cardio Miracle can be your miracle, too.

I hope you’ll join me at the next summit of your life, and let me know what your great peak will be. Let’s commit to pushing to the next level of achievement for the happiness we all strive for, and remember to Keep The Promise.
