Watching My Dad Become the Story

When you're the son of the founder of Cardio Miracle, people often assume you've heard the stories so many times they've lost their impact.

The truth is exactly the opposite.

Every time I hear my father, John Hewlett, tell his story, I'm reminded why Cardio Miracle exists in the first place.

Recently, the Deseret News featured my dad in an article about his health journey and the supplement he spent more than a decade creating. As I read it, I wasn't just reading about the founder of Cardio Miracle.

I was reading about my dad.

I remember the years of uncertainty.

I remember the late-night conversations, the stacks of research, the notebooks filled with ideas, the relentless curiosity, and the countless hours he devoted to answering one question:

How do we help the body do what it was designed to do?

That question wasn't born from a business opportunity.

It was born from a deeply personal desire to regain his health and help others do the same.

Years ago, after experiencing extraordinary stress and significant health challenges, my father began searching for answers. He wasn't looking for a quick fix or the latest trend. He wanted to understand how the body actually works—and how nutrition could support it at the deepest level.

That search eventually led him to nitric oxide.

What fascinated him, and still fascinates me, is that nitric oxide isn't something someone invented.

It's something your body was designed to produce.

Nitric oxide is a naturally occurring signaling molecule that plays an important role in healthy blood vessel function, circulation, oxygen delivery, and many normal physiological processes. Its significance has been studied for decades and was recognized with the 1998 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

Cardio Miracle has also been evaluated in peer-reviewed scientific research. If you'd like to explore the published studies and learn more about the science behind Cardio Miracle, visit our Science & Research page here:

The more my father learned, the more convinced he became that supporting the body's natural production of nitric oxide could play an important role in overall wellness.

That conviction became Cardio Miracle.

I Didn't Inherit the Mission—I Chose It

People sometimes assume I joined Cardio Miracle simply because my dad founded it.

The truth is, I chose this mission because I witnessed what it did for him, for the people closest to us, and for my own recovery after a serious injury.

I've watched my father devote more than a decade to studying nutrition, sourcing quality ingredients, reviewing scientific literature, collaborating with researchers, and continually asking one question:

"How can we make this better?"

I've also had the privilege of hearing from thousands of customers who share how improving their nutrition and adopting healthier habits has changed the way they feel.

Those stories never get old.

One of my favorite parts of this work is speaking directly with people who tell us they have more energy, greater enthusiasm for life, and renewed hope for the future.

No, Cardio Miracle isn't a magic powder.

No supplement should ever be viewed that way.

We don't believe one product replaces exercise, healthy eating, restorative sleep, stress management, or the many daily habits that contribute to long-term health.

Instead, we've always believed good nutrition should support the incredible systems your body already has in place.

That's a very different philosophy.

More Than Nitric Oxide

People sometimes ask me,

"Is Cardio Miracle just a nitric oxide supplement?"

Not in my mind.

To me, it's about helping people become active participants in their own health.

Too often, we wait until something goes wrong before paying attention to our bodies.

What if we approached health the way we approach retirement?

You don't build financial security by making one massive investment the week before you retire.

You build it through consistent deposits over many years.

Health works much the same way.

Every healthy meal. Every walk. Every workout. Every good night's sleep. Every effort to reduce stress. Every decision to nourish your body.

Those daily investments compound over time.

Cardio Miracle has always been intended to be part of that bigger picture … not a replacement for healthy living, but a partner in it.

The Legacy I See

One part of the Deseret News article made me smile.

Award-winning journalist Lee Benson essentially described my father as "Exhibit A."

I understand why.

He's in his seventies and still working, still traveling, still speaking passionately about health, still reading scientific journals, and still searching for better ways to help people live healthier lives.

But if you ask me, he isn't the greatest evidence of Cardio Miracle.

His persistence is.

Most people would have stopped after the setbacks he experienced.

Most people would have accepted declining health as inevitable.

Most people wouldn't spend more than a decade studying scientific research because they believed there had to be a better way.

He did.

That's the legacy I'm most grateful for.

Why We Continue

As President of Cardio Miracle, I have the privilege of carrying that mission forward alongside my brother Josh, our Vice President, and an incredible team that shares this vision.

Our goal has never been to convince everyone.

Our goal is to educate. To encourage. To invite.

We simply ask people to learn, ask questions, and experience the difference for themselves. That's why we confidently offer a 60-day money-back guarantee - and fewer than 1% of customers have ever chosen to use it.

We're here to inspire people to become students of their own health.

To better understand the remarkable design of the human body.

To appreciate the role nutrition plays in supporting it.

If you've followed Cardio Miracle for any length of time, you know this has never been about hype.

It's about hope.

Hope rooted in science.

Hope strengthened by healthier habits.

Hope that wherever you are today, tomorrow can be better than yesterday.

As my father often says,

"Cardio Miracle is hope in a glass."

Founder & Formulator, Cardio Miracle

I'm grateful the Deseret News chose to tell part of my father's story.

But as his son, I can tell you something no article ever fully could.

The real story isn't a product. It isn't a company. It isn't even nitric oxide.

It's the story of a man who loved people enough to spend more than a decade asking difficult questions, refusing easy answers, and believing there had to be a better way.

I've had the privilege of watching that story unfold from the front row.

And it's an honor to help carry it forward.
